The Georgia Association of REALTORS® Announces 2010 Officers and Regional Directors

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - February 10, 2010) -  Deb Junkin, RCE, Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR), has announced the organization's 2010 leadership team. Officers were sworn in on Friday, Feb. 5, at the President's Inaugural Gala during GAR's Inaugural Meeting in Charleston, SC.

Dana Bauguss of Buford has been sworn in as President. Bauguss is a member of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR) and manages the Lawrenceville and Grayson offices for RE/MAX Greater Atlanta. Dana has been an active member with NAMAR. She became a member of NAMAR in 1981 and has either chaired or served on every committee. She has also been named NAMAR's REALTOR® of the Year three times and was awarded the state REALTOR® of the Year award in September 2009. Bauguss has earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Georgia REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations.

Anne Gault of Atlanta has been sworn in as President-Elect. Gault is a member of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® and is Broker/Associate for Harry Norman, REALTORS®.

Steven Fischer of Savannah has been sworn in as Immediate Past President, Bill Boatman of Augusta has been sworn in as Vice President of Administration and Finance, Robin Lance of Savannah has been sworn in as Vice President of Governmental Affairs, Linda Carol Porterfield of Athens has been sworn in Vice President of Professional Development, and Ceci Osburn of Marietta has been sworn in as Vice President of Public and Member Services.

Regional directors for the association are as follows: Region 1, Lisa Burgee of Adairsville; Region 2, Karen Loftus of Lilburn; Region 3, Shelia Brower of Marietta; Region 4, Dorrie Marsh of Fayetteville; Region 5, Linda Jackson of Monroe; Region 6, Chris Jiles of Midland; Region 7, Vickie Giles-Griffin of Albany; Region 8, Midi Shaw of St. Simons; and Region 9, Hazel Hendrix of Statesboro.
