The Six Sigma Handbook 3rd Edition Added to Aveta's Curriculum

Aveta Business Institute's Six Sigma Training and Certification Courses Have Added Thomas Pyzdek's 3rd Edition of The Six Sigma Handbook to Their Course Curriculum

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - October 22, 2009) - The training courses at Aveta's Six Sigma Online (www.sixsigmaonline.com) have just gotten a facelift! What's new, you ask? The required textbook for the course, The Six Sigma Handbook by Thomas Pyzdek, has been upgraded for a brand new 3rd Edition. "We have been using the 2nd Edition since the company started in 2004," states Craig Setter, President and CEO of Aveta Business Institute. Throughout the past five years, Aveta has grown, along with its reputation. Setter continues, "People are really starting to see that it is possible to get quality Six Sigma Training and Certification at an affordable price." Due to an overwhelmingly great response to the textbook from former and current students, Aveta decided to stay with The Six Sigma Handbook, and upgrade their courses to include both text Editions in order to give students a choice.

Aveta currently has two course outlines, one for each edition of the required text for each of its Six Sigma Certifications, including Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Lean/DFSS Certification. "We will continue to have courses that correspond to each edition of the textbook. This way, if you did your Six Sigma Green Belt Certification with us in 2006, and want to continue on for a Black Belt Certification in 2011, you can still use the 2nd Edition of the required textbook that you have already purchased," adds Tim Johnson, a member of Aveta's customer care team. He continues, "Many of our customers rave about the required text -- it really is a gem. Even though the 3rd Edition is a little bit shorter than the 2nd Edition, all of the 'meat' is still included." Luckily, it is very easy to distinguish between the 2nd and 3rd Editions of the text because the 2nd Edition has a blue cover, and the 3rd Edition has a white cover. Effective September 29, 2009, if students opt to buy their book through Aveta along with their Six Sigma Training and Certification, they will be receiving the 3rd Edition of The Six Sigma Handbook.

Aveta's Six Sigma Courses are all online-based and self-paced. Students are given one year to complete the requirements, although extensions are almost always granted upon request. Aveta knows their students are very busy, most juggling at least one job in addition to the coursework, and their aim is to make their Six Sigma Certification as through, quick, and convenient as possible, while still maintaining quality learning. "Whether you are using the 2nd Edition or 3rd Edition of The Six Sigma Handbook, with Aveta, you will always be getting quality -- that is our ultimate goal," promises Setter.
