Motion Picture, TV Compete for Sunset Gower Studio Sound Stages; NBC's Top-Rated "Heroes," Showtime's "Dexter" and Touchstone's "October Road" Currently Shooting on the Lot

HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwire - October 5, 2007) - Hollywood's legendary Sunset Gower Studio is Standing Room Only! The famed 16-acre full-service film, TV and commercial production facilities with 12 newly refurbished and updated sound stages has had the SRO sign out for much of the year. The hit NBC television series "Heroes," Showtime's "Dexter" and Touchstone's "October Road" have made the legendary studio home. They're in good company. Sunset Gower has an amazing history of Academy Award-winning productions on the lot including "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," "The Caine Mutiny," "It Happened One Night," "From Here To Eternity," and "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" to name just a few.

Sunset Gower Studios recently installed a state-of-the-art, fully equipped, panoramic cyclorama sound stage and Air Hollywood has set up production headquarters for its dazzling array of mock aircraft interiors and exteriors. Currently under construction on the lot, is an eye-catching 96,000-sq.-ft. six-story, state-of-the-art building to house Technicolor's postproduction facilities, which is being readied for occupancy for late this year or early 2008, according to studio managing partner Howard Stern.

In addition to the television and commercial productions, many current feature films have graced the Sunset Gower sound stages including "Alvin & The Chipmunks" (FOX animated feature), "The Good German" (George Clooney), "Georgia Rule" (Jane Fonda, Lindsay Lohan) and "The Good Shepherd" (Robert DeNiro) among others. A host of music videos, commercials as well as film and TV productions have utilized the studio's newly decorated 415,000-sq.-ft. of executive and production office space, according to Sunset Gower studio VP of Sales and Marketing Terri Melkonian.

Other Sunset Gower amenities are the fashionable Eat On Sunset gourmet restaurant and the large casual commissary on the lot providing daily fare for the thousands of talented cast, crew and media guests.
