ThermaFreeze Products™ Corporation Reports Cold-Chain Management Solution in Shipment of Vaccine

THEODORE, AL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 22, 2006 -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (PINKSHEETS: TFZP) released today temperature control performance results in the international shipment of high-value veterinary vaccine by Diamond Animal Health, Inc.

Unable to secure satisfactory cold-chain control packaging from several major US-based perishable-shipping companies, Diamond Animal Health turned to ThermaFreeze Products, which developed the successful solution.

For the vaccine to remain viable, the temperature during shipment had to remain between 1 and 9 degrees Centigrade (33 and 48 Fahrenheit) for five days during transit between Iowa and Norway. Either freezing or exceeding 9 degrees C would render the vaccine ineffective. The vaccine was shipped with ThermaFreeze™ refrigerant and ThermaBarrier™ thermal protection in 20-liter containers, each valued at USD $100,000.

ThermaFreeze designed a custom package that provided rigid strength protection for the 45-pound payload and high-efficiency protection against ambient temperatures, ranging from Midwestern heat to frigid temperatures experienced at altitude during the polar route to Europe. The vaccine temperature was finitely maintained by the patented ThermaFreeze™ refrigerant and patented ThermaBarrier™ temperature control material.

After initial testing, Diamond Animal Health conducted a range of field tests and supply shipments to Europe resulting in zero failures.

President Joe Murray stated that, "This is one more example of how the Company's solution-based cold-chain management products change the standard in the shipment of expensive perishables."
