Thinkpath Inc. Announces the Promotion of James McLafferty to General Manager

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 7, 2006 -- Thinkpath Inc. (OTCBB: THPHF), a growing engineering services provider, announced today the promotion of James McLafferty to the position of General Manager of its New Jersey office. He will report directly to Robert Trick, the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer.

Effective immediately, Mr. McLafferty will oversee all sales and operations of the New Jersey office including sales and marketing, hiring and training, customer relations, financial projections and reporting. Ultimately, he will be responsible for maximizing the office's profit potential while ensuring customers receive standards of quality and service in line with Company policy and strategy.

"He brings with him over 16 years experience and advanced knowledge of engineering, systems applications, project management, technical training and documentation, as well as strategic planning in the industrial and technical markets."

Mr. McLafferty was most recently Vice President, Training and Documentation of The Multitech Group ("TMG"), a New Jersey engineering services company acquired by Thinkpath on June 29, 2006. At TMG, Mr. McLafferty was responsible for the successful development, implementation and management of high profile engineering projects for material handling, air pollution abatement, homeland security and other industrial markets.

Prior to TMG, Mr. McLafferty was a System Engineer/Project Manager at Sandvik Sorting Systems, a $100 million designer and manufacturer of automated sorting systems and a Senior Industrial Engineer at the United States Postal Service.

Mr. McLafferty holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from State University of New York. Mr. McLafferty is a member of the American Management Association, Institute of Industrial Engineers and the American Society for Training and Development.
