This Week on Your Cancer Today: New Genomic Test Announced by Duke University

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 24, 2006 -- Your Cancer Today™ is a 30 minute television talk show, dedicated to inform and educate viewers from both the institutional and patients' perspectives, and its internet web site allows viewers sources for further information and investigation of various cancer treatments, alternatives and research being conducted as well as featuring online viewing of past episodes on demand.

On this week's program, host Donald Baillargeon speaks with a doctor from Duke University Medical Center. Researchers at Duke have just developed the first ever genomic test, which can predict which patients with early stage lung cancer will require chemotherapy and which of those can avoid the treatment.

We'll also investigate the importance of support... support from family, support from friends, support from organizations; we'll chat with a cancer survivor in California who channeled his experience to begin an organization which supports firefighters diagnosed with cancer and with yet another from New York, whose organization helps young adults get their lives back on track after cancer.

Your Cancer Today™ Producer Alan Painter is a Director of NanoLife Sciences, Inc., developers of Proton Treatment Centers. "This is a much needed show," Painter says, "and way overdue. Information is the key to fighting cancer and the more we can spread the word, the better it will be for everyone." Donald Baillargeon, executive producer and host of "MoneyTV," which has been running since 1996 in 125 million homes globally, is also the host and executive producer of Your Cancer Today™.

Your Cancer Today™ is seen throughout the United States on broadcast, cable and satellite television as well as in Western Europe. A full channel lineup is available at the company web site,, where the program can also be viewed online, free of charge, on-demand.
