TiEcon 2010 Announces Keynote Speaker G. Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill & Company

Life Science Visionary to Lead TiE Focus on BioSciences; Panel Speakers to Focus on Emerging Trends and Innovation

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - April 16, 2010) -  TiE Silicon Valley announced that G. Steven Burrill will provide the keynote address for the BioSciences track at TiEcon 2010, the world's largest conference for entrepreneurs, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, May 14-15TiEcon brings together world-class entrepreneurs and leaders from business, technology, venture capital, and media for two days of education, networking and business building. TiEcon 2010's theme, "It's in your DNA," emphasizes the qualities inherent in all successful entrepreneurs.

  • "BioScience Industry Outlook: Emerging Trends 2010 and Beyond": focuses on opportunities in BioSciences, attracting interest from VCs, corporate investors, private equity and non-traditional sources including India and China. This session, moderated by Sanjaya Kumar, CEO, Quantros, includes Bob Lin - Chairman, Healthlink; Mathu Krishnan - Founder & CEO, masIT, Inc.; Gerard Livaudais - EVP Product Management, Quantros.
