TicketLiquidator's Ticket of the Week: Lady Gaga Tickets

VERNON, CT--(Marketwire - March 27, 2010) -  TicketLiquidator, the leading provider of the world's most extensive online ticket inventory of hard-to-find, low-priced concert tickets, today announced that it has Lady Gaga tickets available for the second leg of her 2010 "Monster Ball" arena tour. The Lady Gaga tour begins at the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec this June and continues through September 2010.

The twenty three year old pop star began her career performing regularly at local bars in New York City while studying at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She began writing songs for artists like  Black Eyed Peas' Fergie after signing with Interscope Records in 2007. By 2008 Lady Gaga released her first studio album "The Fame" with four number one singles on US Pop charts.

Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour kicked off on a smaller scale in the US last December before traveling through Australia, Asia and Europe in support of her second studio album "The Fame Monster." The multi-platinum album was originally intended for inclusion in a re-release of Gaga's debut album "The Fame" which won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2010. The Fame Monster charted at number five on the US Billboard 200. Monica Herrera of Billboard Magazine stated, "As if Lady Gaga's debut album, 'The Fame,' wasn't loaded with enough hits... the set's companion EP boasts eight new tracks, nearly all of which are worthy of heavy rotation."

The first leg of the Monster Ball Tour was sectioned into five segments with elaborate costumes and dynamic stage sets. According to Rolling Stone Magazine's Jeremy Adams she was, "Clothed by her own design team, Haus of Gaga, the Lady went from rhinestone-keyboard-carrying Flock-of-Seagulls member ('Just Dance') to 300-style golden headdress warrior ('Fashion') to '80s corporate maven with huge shoulder pads ('Eh, Eh')."

"Fans can expect even more glamour and theatrics during the second leg of the Lady Gaga tour," stated Alexandra Owens, Media Relations, TicketLiquidator. "Those who missed out on Lady Gaga the first time around will have a second chance to see her in a larger setting; tickets are expected to sell out quickly."

Details about the new show have largely been under wraps. It is known, however, that the Monster Ball tour has been completely redesigned. Lady Gaga disclosed her plans in a candid conversation with MTV dishing that the show will be "more of a musical and less of a concert." Shrouded in mystery and highly anticipated, Lady Gaga tickets are the TicketLiquidator ticket of the week.
