Timminco Announces Resignation of Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 26, 2007) - Timminco Limited ("Timminco") (TSX:TIM) announced that Mr. J. Thomas Timmins has resigned as a director of Timminco, for personal reasons. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Timminco, Dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, expressed his appreciation for the guidance that Mr. Timmins has provided to the Board.
