Titan Energy Worldwide Announces New Megawatt Generator Systems Available Through Generac

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - October 1, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Systems, will now be able to supply its critical and commercial markets with a new, and more powerful, megawatt standby generator system. Stellar is an authorized dealer and service provider for Generac Power Systems.

Generac Power Systems has announced the release of its new and more powerful Gemini® Twin Pack genset with a rating of 1000 kilowatts (1 Megawatt). Using Generac's onboard paralleling technology, Gemini's power is produced by two 500 kilowatt gensets operating within a single, sound attenuated enclosure. The new model takes the place of the 600 and 750 kW Gemini gensets that were introduced in 2002.

Stated Thomas Black, President of Titan Energy Worldwide, "We are excited to be able to offer this superior powergen solution to many of our larger customers. The Gemini Twin Pack genset is well-suited to a wide variety of applications, including hospitals, airports, office buildings, manufacturing plants, data centers and retail superstores."

Generac's industry-exclusive design has important advantages. "Because the generators can operate independently as well as in parallel, Gemini provides built-in redundancy for increased reliability," Black explains. "During normal operation, the electrical load is shared proportionately by both generators. If for some reason one is not operating, the other can provide up to 500 kilowatts of power. And as facilities expand and power needs grow, additional MPS gensets (Gemini Twin Pack or single engine models) can be added to meet the increased requirements and / or achieve n + (need plus) redundancy for critical loads. As many as seven Gemini units can be combined and paralleled for applications requiring up to 7 Megawatts."
