Titan Energy Worldwide Awarded Contract for 300kW Generator System for Assisted Living Facility

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - October 18, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI) announced today that its subsidiary, Stellar Energy Services, Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply one 300kW emergency engine generator system to Crestview Lutheran Home, an assisted living center located in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. The engine generator, manufactured by Generac Power Systems of Waukesha, Wisconsin, is a clean burning natural gas unit. The system will be installed outdoors in a sound attenuated enclosure. The 300kW, 13.3-liter engine is the largest that Generac makes that runs on natural gas.

The emergency power system that Stellar provided includes an ASCO closed transition automatic transfer switch rated 1600amp. The closed transition transfer switch is a premium product that allows the engine generator and the utility to parallel for no more than 100 milliseconds. This closed transition eliminates any interruption of power when transferring between two live sources. The purchase order for the project was approximately $90,000, and is scheduled to ship to the site on December 15, 2007.

Steve Hoyt, Sales Engineer for Stellar, stated, "The closed transition transfer switch is the right product for the health care industry. Not having to worry about a power interruption when transferring back to the local utility is extremely helpful when dealing with elderly residences that may be on oxygen or other critical devices."
