Titan Energy Worldwide Demonstrates the Sentry 5000 Mobile Utility System to the State of Indiana's Emergency Management Team
SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - October 3, 2007) - Titan Energy Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: TEWI)
conducted a demonstration of the Sentry 5000D mobile utility system for
Homeland Security officials at the Greg Phillips Emergency Services Center
in Valparaiso, IN. This new facility houses the Porter County Emergency
Management, Homeland Security, and Environmental-HAZMAT operations group.
The demonstration of the Sentry 5000 was coordinated by Brighton Diesel, a
Master Distributor for Seagraves Fire Apparatus and a marketing partner
with Titan for the Sentry 5000.
Steven Hurt, VP of Sales for Titan Energy Worldwide, stated, "We were
extremely pleased with the turnout at this event. The Director of Porter
County Emergency Management and Homeland Security was in attendance along
with the Country Environmental Operation Director, the Field Coordinator
for District One, and the local Seagraves representative, Hoosier Fire.
During the demonstration, we highlighted the features and benefits of the
Sentry 5000 and discussed applications that make this system a valuable and
economical solution for State Homeland Security."
The Sentry 5000 was designed and developed by Titan Energy to be a mobile,
multifunctional utility system that that can be quickly and easily deployed
in emergency and other situations to provide 50Kw of electricity, heating
and cooling, water purification, compressed air, satellite handheld phone
system and perimeter lighting.
Ben Beeler, Director of Business Development for Titan Energy, stated, "The
opportunities that exist in the northwest Indiana counties center around
educational utility support. This area's schools do not have emergency or
HAZMAT plans, and most don't have back up generators. Several of these
same schools are sites nominated for FEMA as emergency gathering areas, so
there was great interest in the Sentry 5000 as an all-in-one back and
emergency utility system."
