TradeCard Connects Trade Partners for 10+2 Compliance

TradeCard Platform Provides Importers Access to Key Data Required to Meet Anticipated Trade Regulation

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 25, 2008) - TradeCard, Inc., the leading supply chain collaboration platform, is enabling its importer customers to comply with the U.S. Government's anticipated 10+2 trade regulation. Data from purchase orders, packing and shipping documents residing on the TradeCard Platform, combined with network connectivity that links all necessary transaction parties, will enable importers to access in one place all ten data elements required for 10+2 compliance.

TradeCard automates transactions between buyers, vendors, manufacturers, agents, logistics service providers and factories, providing unique access to transaction data necessary for 10+2 compliance. The TradeCard Platform provides brands and retailers data visibility into their suppliers and manufacturers all the way down to the factory floor. When suppliers and their factories create documents on TradeCard, such documents are pre-populated with standard fields such as Country of Origin, Manufacturer Name, and Seller Name. These data elements have already been captured in the system at the time the purchase order was created by the importer. The data is available immediately due to the TradeCard Platform's ability to gather key information at the inception of a transaction, and to store it in one place.

"Kurt Salmon Associates' clients expect the Department Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC) to publish the 10+2 regulations after they meet this month in Washington D.C. Our clients will be looking to TradeCard to provide the data they need to maintain complete compliance with the new regulations," said John Seidl, Principal with Kurt Salmon Associates.

The TradeCard Platform provides access to key supply chain touch points. Suppliers and factories transact on the system allowing PO data to be captured.

"The nature of our business enables us to help customers accumulate the various data elements needed for filing for 10+2 on time, with relative ease," said Kurt Cavano, CEO of TradeCard, Inc. "Most companies are struggling to figure out how to locate and string together all of the necessary data. The TradeCard Platform is already connected to key parties required for compliance, specifically the parties furthest upstream. TradeCard is already in factories and we can make it easy to obtain data needed to complete 10+2 filing on time and ensure compliance."

TradeCard ties together and stores information from purchase orders, packing manifests and invoices. TradeCard customers are already leveraging the platform to create custom invoices, which requires having the harmonized tariff code information applied at the point of factory shipment, versus just prior to clearing customs.

TradeCard helps retailers and brands source smarter and faster through a rapidly deployed network that connects and enables the extended supply chain. TradeCard's services and global trading partners are delivered on a software-as-a-service platform that links more than 4,000 buyers, suppliers and service providers. Financial services available on the TradeCard Platform help companies of all sizes to better compete by improving margin and cash flow. TradeCard's global support team enables rapid deployment in as little as 90 days.
