Trango Broadband Wireless Receives FCC Certification for TrangoLINK-45®

High-Speed Point-to-Point Wireless Ethernet Bridge Features Multi-Band Versatility in One Radio

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - September 27, 2007) - Trango Broadband Wireless, a leading developer of high-capacity fixed wireless broadband solutions, has received FCC regulatory approval for the new TrangoLINK-45®, a multi-band high-speed wireless point-to-point bridging system for the U.S. domestic markets. The multi-band feature provides a choice between multiple frequency bands (5.3, 5.4 or 5.8 GHz) all in the convenience of one radio, a valuable feature when operating in high noise floor areas. TrangoLINK-45® delivers up to 45 Mbps throughput and features Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), Automatic Transmit Power Control (ATPC) and Adaptable Rate Modulation. The new frequency options of the TrangoLINK-45® complement Trango's current point-to-point and point-to-multipoint product lines.

"The vast operational flexibility that this multi-band system brings to the 5 GHz spectrum has been highly anticipated by our growing customer base and we are pleased to announce FCC approval of the new TrangoLINK-45® this week at WiMAX World here in Chicago," said Vural Kalafat, Vice President of Marketing for Trango Broadband Wireless. "Network operators now have an even wider range of frequency choices and channels in which to operate. TrangoLINK-45® delivers unequaled performance and value and solidifies Trango as a leader in providing wireless connectivity."

Trango is presently taking orders and shipping all models of the TrangoLINK-45®, including the U.S.A. version. The high-capacity backhaul radios are available with integrated dual-polarity patch panel antennas (19 dBi or 23 dBi), or with two connectors for a higher gain external dual-polarity dish antenna. All models feature software-selectable antenna polarity, eliminating the need for on-site physical adjustment of antennas. TrangoLINK-45® is also available in three international models which are approved for operation in Canada (IC), Europe (EU) and other international markets (OEM).
