TransAmerican Hires MGI Securities to Evaluate Potential South American Assets Acquisitions, Financing Needs and Strategic Development Plan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 8, 2010) - TransAmerican Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TAE)(FRANKFURT:YQJ) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an Advisory Agreement with MGI Securities to advise the Board of Directors on different topics including but not limited to the potential acquisitions of oil and gas assets in South America, the strategic development plan of the company and the means and the way to acquire the financial resources to execute any acquisition and objectives contained in such strategic development plan.
