Transpera Announces E*TRADE FINANCIAL as the Latest Customer of Its Mobile Video Advertising Services

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - February 10, 2010) - Transpera, the largest mobile video delivery and ad network in North America, today announced E*TRADE FINANCIAL as the latest company to use Transpera to deliver its branding campaign across premium video brands within the Transpera content network.

The Kelsey Group reports an estimated 63.9 million mobile Internet users in the U.S., a growth of 16.7% over last year. Further, according to Nielsen Mobile, mobile video viewing has grown a significant 53% from last year, up to 15.7 million Americans, who watch 3 hours per month.

According to eMarketer Inc., U.S. mobile advertising is expected to approach $1.6 billion by 2013, up from an estimated $416 million this year. Transpera, together with digital marketing research company InsightExpress, has reported that avid mobile video users represent unduplicated reach to advertisers, reporting that 62% of these mobile video consumers use their mobile phone more than they use a computer to browse the Internet, vs. just 9% of the non-mobile video viewers.

Additionally, Transpera found double-digit lift in key metrics such as purchase intent and brand awareness resulting from brand campaigns utilizing the Transpera Ad Platform.
