Tribute Receives Final Indium & Gallium Results from the Arrow Zone

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 6, 2006) - Tribute Minerals Inc. (the "Company' or "Tribute") (TSX VENTURE:TBM) has received the indium and gallium assays completed on samples intersecting the Arrow Zone from drill-hole GL-2006-24. The previously announced (April 25, 2006 NR) intersection of 6.4 metres (5.0 metres true width) of 4.7% Zn, 0.57% Cu, 40.6 g/t Ag and 0.16 g/t Au assayed 31.5 g/t In and 42.1 g/t Ga. This section included 4.5 metres of 6.5% Zn, 0.69% Cu, 54 g/t Ag, and 0.2 g/t Au which assayed 44.3 g/t In and 42.3 g/t Ga.

Recent Indium prices were quoted at $1,000/kg and Gallium at $650/kg. Both metals have seen explosive growth in use in the high tech industry; Indium is a main component in flat screen liquid crystal displays (LCD's), and gallium in the computer chip and solar panel industries.

Samples from Accurassay Laboratories in Thunder Bay were shipped by bonded carrier to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay and to ALS Chemex in North Vancouver for AU-AA62 assay (gold by fire assay with AA finish) and ME-MS61 47 element analysis (4 acid dissolution and ICP-MS). High analyses (greater than 10,000ppm, 1%) for copper and zinc were submitted for ore grade AA62 analysis (4 acid dissolution with AA finish). Standard QA/QC protocols were fulfilled by ALS Chemex. The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, P.Geo., Geological Consultant, Tribute Minerals, and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.
