REDWOOD CITY, CA and CONCORD, ON--(Marketwire - October 1, 2007) - Trilliant Networks, Inc., the industry's leading provider of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) based on open standards, and OZZ Corporation, a leading provider of metering and energy management services to North American electric and gas utility markets, today announced completion of an agreement to merge operations. The new unified business, Trilliant Incorporated, will provide utilities with comprehensive solutions and services supporting advance metering, demand response and grid management programs. In combination with the transaction to merge with Trilliant Networks, OZZ Corporation also announced it has sold its Comfort Solutions business to Alinda Capital Partners LLC, providing for a sole focus on utility advanced metering solutions and services.

A veteran management team of Trilliant Networks, Inc. and OZZ Corporation executives, including Bill Vogel, president and CEO; Paul Begin, CFO; Geoff Williamson, CMO; and Brian Pollom, vice president of customer programs, will continue to provide leadership for the newly formed company.

"Under the strong leadership of the new executive team Trilliant is set to deliver increased value for customers and shareholders."

"The utility industry is transforming mission-critical processes associated with energy services, adapting to an increasingly constrained market while implementing support for the green economy," said Bill Vogel, president and CEO of Trilliant Inc.
