Trimax Hotel Division Begins Executing Plan to Upgrade Its Portfolio -- First 6 Properties Purchase $50K of Equipment

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 3, 2006 -- Trimax Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Multi-Source Inc. (MSI), and PLC Network Solutions Inc. (PLC) (OTCBB: TMXO), leading providers of Broadband over Powerline (BPL) communication technologies, are pleased to announce today that its Hotel Division has received the go-ahead to upgrade and install new BPL systems in 6 of its recently acquired 50 hotel, 4600 guest room portfolio.

Prior to Trimax's acquisition of the 50 U.S. and Canadian hotels (June 6th Press Release -- Hotel Division Acquisition), the company assessed each hotel and their hybrid communications technologies that consisted of legacy BPL devices, wireless and traditional cabling. Through this due diligence the company recognized the revenue potential available to both Trimax and the hotel operators by upgrading its equipment.

Offering high-speed Internet has become the standard for hotels and resorts as guests increasingly require easy "plug-n-play" access to the Internet. The hotel managers recognize the need and the revenue potential of enhancing their existing communications services. Trimax's solution offers scalable triple-play broadband internet with symmetrical upload and download speeds using the 225 Mbps technology. This is enough bandwidth to accommodate services such as symmetrical internet, video on demand, VoIP, elevator monitors, surveillance cameras, and IPTV all bundled on Trimax/PLC's single BPL platform. Hotel guests enjoy simple, plug-n-play, always-on connectivity. There is no software to install or computer settings that need to be reconfigured to access the Internet. Additional BPL benefits to the hotels include portability, speed, security, scalability and cost effectiveness. Trimax's comprehensive service and technical Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About Trimax/MSI/PLC Network Solutions Inc.

Trimax and its wholly owned subsidiaries Multi-Source Inc. and PLC Network Solutions Inc. are providers of leading Broadband over PowerLine communication technologies. BPL is a disruptive communications technology that turns the existing ubiquitous power line infrastructure and common electrical wiring in commercial and residential buildings into a high-bandwidth network. Since the building's electrical wiring becomes the backbone for a secure local area network, there is no need to install new wiring in the walls. Trimax/MSI/PLC specializes in the development, distribution, implementation, and servicing technologies that use the power grid to deliver 128-bit encrypted high-speed symmetrical broadband for data, voice and video transmission. Broadband is delivered simultaneously on a single platform, to every electrical outlet throughout the home or business. To connect, users simply plug a modem into any electrical outlet, and plug their computer or phone into the modem.

Trimax/MSI/PLC BPL technologies use the existing electrical wiring as a "smart" network to deliver broadband access to computers, video on demand (VOD), VOIP phones, surveillance cameras, elevator apps, IPTVs, smart meters etc. as well as connect printers, faxes, entertainment systems, etc. within the hotel, home or office network. Installation is usually implemented in a matter of hours or days instead of weeks or months and avoids the expense and disruption to business of burying cables or tearing apart walls to run new wires, which is necessary for other broadband access technologies. This technology has been successfully deployed in over 25 countries around the globe, in hotels, homes, apartments, office towers, schools, hospitals, museums and government buildings. The company believes that BPL will be the next widely accepted communications technology. Trimax/MSI/PLC anticipates that the company and its devices will be at the forefront of this new technology revolution, which includes expanding its reach throughout the world.

Derek Pepler, President of Trimax/MSI/PLC, stated: "The hospitality business is both extremely competitive and constantly challenged to deliver high quality customer service. Trimax's BPL solution is a cost effective communications platform that is fully scalable to provision new rooms or future value-added applications such as VOD, allowing the hotel to capitalize on repeat guest patronage and higher revenue streams per room. The recent acquisition of our hotel portfolio is on plan. This $50K equipment order is the first step to achieving our plan of increasing the existing hotel revenues by $500K this year."
