Trueclaim Exploration Inc. Announces Completion of its Phase I Scadding Property Drill Program

ST. THOMAS, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 21, 2009) - Trueclaim Exploration Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TRM) has completed the first phase of its Scadding Property drill program. The Company completed 19 holes within four broad zones for a total of 2,111 metres. The distribution of holes was as follows:

Zone Holes Total
North Zone TRM-09-03, TRM-09-04, TRM-09-05, TRM-09-06, TRM-09-14, TRM-09-16, TRM-09-17 7
Central Zone TRM-09-10, TRM-09-11, TRM-09-12, TRM-09-13, TRM-09-15 5
East-West Zone TRM-09-18, TRM-09-19 2
South Zone TRM-09-01, TRM-09-02, TRM-09-07, TRM-09-08, TRM-09-09 5
Total   19

The distribution of drill targets was prepared following a comprehensive review of all previous drill programs carried out on the property. This included all of the drilling done prior to and after the Scadding Property was in production between 1987 and 1989. At that time the mill located on the property produced approximately 31,200 ounces of gold from the East-West and Central Zones. This production came from a non-NI43-101-compliant historic resource in these zones estimated to be approximately 165,000 ounces of gold.

On the basis of the prior workings the Company's team of geologists prepared a preliminary geologic model outlining the anticipated structures and zones on the property. As Bob Komarechka, P.Geo., the Company's senior project geologist noted, "We are very pleased with the outcome of the drill program. The preparation and planning we carried out allowed us to successfully target and intercept several mineralized zones as our model predicted."

The President of Trueclaim, Mr. John Carter also noted, "The drill program was a broad-based team effort that was executed exactly as planned. The targets identified by Paul McLean, P.Geo., consulting geologist, Bob Komarechka P.Geo., senior project geologist and Lindsay Moss, BSc. Geology, project geologist, gave us an excellent Phase I look at the property and we're now looking forward to receiving the assay results from all 19 holes. The program has gone so well that we expect to bring the drillers back in early January."

The drill core from all of the holes is now being assayed and processed at AGAT Laboratories in Toronto and SGS in Lakefield, Ontario. The Company's geologists will be compiling the results into a full three-dimensional model in December and January and will use the results to create a comprehensive picture of the Scadding geology and prepare for the Phase II drill program in 2010.

We seek Safe Harbour.
