Two Avenda Systems Customers Win InfoWorld 100 Awards for Having Top IT Projects of 2009

University of San Diego, East Grand Rapids Public Schools Earn InfoWorld's Highest Honor Recognizing Organizations Using Enterprise Technology in Smart, Innovative Ways

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2009) - Avenda Systems, the innovator in identity-aware network security, today announced that customers the University of San Diego and East Grand Rapids Public Schools were recognized with InfoWorld 100 Awards from IDG's InfoWorld for using enterprise technology in smart, and innovative ways. Their secure network access control projects are powered by Avenda's eTIPS identity-based network access platform.

The InfoWorld 100 Awards recognize each year the 100 most innovative uses of IT initiatives to further business goals. To be considered for an InfoWorld 100 Award, projects must use multiple technologies in innovative ways to serve well-defined business goals.

The University of San Diego was recognized for its campus-wide guest access wireless security project integrating Avenda Systems with Aruba Networks and CashNet PCI compliant payment service.
