Two Global Tier-One Carriers Invite Unity Wireless to Participate in Major Bids

New Product Line Draws Interest From Both Sides of the Atlantic

BURNABY, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB: UTYW), a world class provider of wireless systems and coverage-enhancement solutions, was invited to participate in, and this week submitted formal responses to two major Request for Quotations (RFQs) from both a North American and a European tier-one wireless carrier. The resulting master standing offer establishes a limited number of successful applicants as approved suppliers for commonly between two to three years. Carriers of this magnitude purchase up to 150,000 tower mounted amplifiers (TMAs) and their related products, Bias Ts, Multiplexers, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) per year.

"An invitation to participate in RFQs of this magnitude is a solid endorsement of Unity's technology and products," commented Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless. Mr. Kenig continued, "Only a limited field of qualified vendors are given the nod, and provided the extensive documentation that must be submitted as part of the process."

Mr. Kenig commented further that, "These invitations to participate in RFQs from carriers of this size simply confirms our early client feedback regarding our new product line's superior technical performance, environmental durability, and price advantage. We are optimistic about our opportunity to win a portion of this very substantial market."

In addition to RF performance benefits, Unity Wireless has addressed the key issue of corrosion resistance and reliability, a major weakness in similar products up to this point. Unity has adopted a leading edge, robust two-part epoxy paint process tested and used by NASA to withstand harsh environmental conditions.
