"U22 Takes Over the Trop" for Tampa Bay's Talent Contest

GTE FCU and the Tampa Bay Rays Team Up to Hit It Out of the Park

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - June 22, 2010) - All eyes are on July 31, 2010 at Tropicana Field, when the Tampa Bay Rays will take on their American League East rivals, the New York Yankees. In the spirit of this highly-anticipated match up, GTE Federal Credit Union has teamed up with the Tampa Bay Rays to provide a one-of-a-kind baseball experience titled: "U22 Takes Over the Trop." The week of July 19th, four talented sports enthusiasts between the ages of 12 - 22 years of age will be selected to fill the Rays' exclusive positions as the Junior Bat Boy (or Girl), the Ceremonial Pitcher, the Junior Announcer and the 7th Inning Stretch Singer. Each winner will additionally receive four free tickets.

Teens and young adults are encouraged to take part in the big "U22 Takes Over the Trop" contest! Interested applicants must register and submit a video or photo showcasing their skill and talent for the position they are interested in at by July 14th at 4pm EDT to be eligible. 

All new members that open a U22 Checking Account between June 1 and July 14, 2010 will be automatically entered to win four lower box seats and a meet and greet with a Tampa Bay Rays player before the July 31st rivalry. One winner will be selected at random from the pool of entries.
