UPDATE: Scuderi Group to Display the Scuderi Engine Prototype at the 2010 Washington Auto Show in Washington, D.C.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - January 21, 2010) - Next week at the 2010 Washington Auto Show (, the Scuderi Group ( will introduce the Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine, the first hybrid system that makes sense.

The five-day show opens to the public on Jan. 27 with two special preview days for government and media officials.


The Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine announcement is part of a media tour of the Washington Auto Show's "Advanced Technology SuperHighway," a 65,000-square foot display housing the latest innovations in automotive safety and sustainability. During the tour, exhibitors will hold brief press conferences to announce new green technologies and developments.

Tuesday, Jan. 26, Scuderi Group President Sal Scuderi will discuss preliminary studies that show significant advantages of the Scuderi Air-Hybrid over the performance and cost of electric hybrids.

A working cutaway model of the Scuderi Engine prototype -- the core of the Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine -- will be on display for the duration of The Washington Auto Show.
