Buffalo Stores Are the Latest to Join Growing Network of Winning Colours® Stain Remover Retailers

BARRIE, ON--(Marketwire - August 12, 2008) - Winning Brands Corporation (PINKSHEETS: WNBD) (FRANKFURT: WMU) www.WinningBrands.ca reports that U.S. retailers along the Canadian border are picking up interest in Winning Colours Stain Remover, the popular new eco-responsible solvent replacement. In the past week alone, four new Buffalo, New York area paint retailers have ordered opening inventory of the breakthrough stain removing product. They are Albion Ace Hardware in Albion, Schnitter's Paint in Buffalo, Aurora Paint Pot in East Aurora and Flint Bros Hardware in Newfane. Managers in an additional 7 Buffalo area stores have asked their store owners during the preceding week to approve the sale of Winning Colours Stain Remover as well -- with decisions pending. Unlike traditional solvents, Winning Colours Stain Remover is gentle to skin and converts oil-based stains into a simple clean-up with plain water. Beyond use for paint mess clean-ups, Winning Colours Stain Remover is gaining fans with its ease in removing wine stains, pet accidents, car detailing and other applications.

The growing interest by hardware stores in border regions reflects their perception that the Canadian stain removing phenomenon is increasingly likely to succeed with U.S. consumers through a combination of television advertising and the recent introduction of U.S. manufacturing. Winning Brands Snr. VP Lorne Kelly recently completed a circuit through Western New York State to see and support retailers' decision-making process first hand.
