Unigen Corporation to Manufacture Enterprise SSD Products Based on SandForce SSD Processors

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - November 2, 2009) - Unigen Corporation, a leading global designer
and manufacturer of memory, flash and wireless modules, today announced it
is joining forces with SandForce, and will manufacture NAND Flash-based
Enterprise SSDs (Solid State Drives) based on the award-winning SandForce
SF-1000 Processor Family.

SandForce is focused on introducing breakthrough SSD Processors for

Unigen plans to offer SSDs based on both the SandForce SF-1500 and SF-1200
SSD Processors with a product portfolio that delivers feature and
performance leadership across a range of categories. These products will
provide optimal storage media solutions in terms of reliability,
performance, and power efficiency for Original Equipment Manufacturers
(OEMs) in the server, storage, networking and industrial segments.
The new low-power Unigen Enterprise SSDs will come in standard 2.5-inch
form factors with both 3Gb/s SATA, and 6Gb/s SAS interfaces. The SSDs will
be available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 512GB.
