Unity Wireless Succeeds With North American Tier-One OEM

Receives First PO for Development Stage of Homeland Security Project With Series of Orders to Exceed $1 Million

BURNABY, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 15, 2006 -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB: UTYW), a world class developer of amplifier subcomponents for wireless industry original equipment manufacturers, today announced that it has received a $360,000 order from one of North America's largest Base Station manufacturers, scheduled to ship in Q4 2006 and Q1 2007. As part of a new product development program for the Department of Homeland Security, a successful market trial is expected to lead to total 2007 production revenues in excess of $1 million for this project.

"A break through like this, into the central engineering and purchasing group of one of the world's largest wireless equipment manufacturers, is a significant milestone for the company. Last year we did $250,000 on smaller projects with one of the specialty divisions of this account. This year Unity is on track to achieve over $700,000 in sales. Now, with this new major project taking us into the central engineering and purchasing group, 2007 total sales are expected to jump beyond the million dollar mark," commented Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless.

Mr. Kenig continued, "This strong beach head at the top level of this Tier-One, gives Unity Wireless the traction and momentum that we need to become involved in a growing share of the potentially significant demand that this account has for our products each year."

Unity Wireless' business is divided into two main areas; Coverage Enhancement Solutions (CES), such as repeaters, and tower mounted amplifiers for wireless Network Operators, and custom designed amplifier sub components that are integrated into the base station systems produced by large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Although the custom product development cycle, and size of the target accounts in the OEM business means a longer term return than the end user component sale in the CES business, successful penetration of the North American Tier-One OEMs will result in the large, ongoing order cycles that Unity sees as the solid growth future for the company.
