LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 8, 2006 --Universal Detection Technology ( (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bio-terrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, invites US building managers, owners, and operators to participate in the Company's recently announced Building Security Survey.

The questionnaire will be available for respondents until January 31st, 2006 and is aimed at providing a realistic picture of US buildings' preparedness to deal with potential terrorist attacks. It is part of UDTT's ongoing program to ascertain threats of terrorism including bio-terrorism. To view and fill out the questionnaire please visit:

"We have designed the survey to assess the actions taken by those in charge to protect buildings against terrorist threats in the homeland. The answers will help us evaluate the percentage of buildings that are ill-equipped to deal with a large-scale emergency, which is characteristic of terrorist attacks involving bio-terror agents," said Jacques Tizabi, UDTT's CEO. "We hope to also provide recommendations for actions to local and federal authorities that can make our buildings more secured," he added.
