The University of Tennessee Athletics Renews Long-Term Contract With Paciolan and Adds Thompson-Boling Arena

Partnership Provides Tennessee With Robust Online Account Management Functionality

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - June 1, 2007) - The University of Tennessee and Paciolan today announce their renewed long-term partnership to manage the ticketing, marketing and development infrastructure for Tennessee Athletics providing a complete view of valued fans and donors to the University. The two organizations also announced that Paciolan will now manage all ticketing for the Thompson-Boling Arena. The arena in addition to hosting its own cultural, entertainment and athletic events, also operates the Tickets Unlimited brand which serves many venues across the East Tennessee area, including the Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville Civic Coliseum and Auditorium, Smokies Park, the Bijou Theatre, Clarence Brown Theatre, The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and more. These venues and clients host in excess of 500 events annually.

By sharing a common platform, the University will eliminate the need to maintain two ticketing platforms across organizations which will lead to reduced operational costs. More importantly, the University now has the ability to offer its fans and patrons increased levels of customer service by allowing them to purchase tickets from previously unavailable arena outlets, providing them with greater opportunity to use print at home functionality courtesy of increased usage of access management functionality, and providing their fans and patrons with all of the benefits associated with increased online account management functionality.

"We are excited to renew our relationship with Paciolan and fully utilize their world-class technology," states Joe Arnone, Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations, at the University of Tennessee. "After evaluating all of the major ticketing solutions, we partnered with Paciolan due to the depth of functionality as well as its longstanding commitment to college athletics. Over the upcoming school year, we will implement the 'Digital Ticket' for the upcoming basketball season including access management. We are also enhancing donor service levels today with Paciolan's Fundraiser's Advantage."

"The Tickets Unlimited brand is synonymous with high levels of patron-based customer service," states Tim Reese, Arena Manager, Thompson-Boling Arena. "By moving to Paciolan we will provide both our venues and our patrons with increased levels of customer service which will foster stronger patron-venue relationships."

"We're excited to partner with the University of Tennessee," stated Dave Butler, CEO of Paciolan. "Tennessee joins a growing list of forward thinking universities whose arenas switched from another ticketing vendor and now utilize Paciolan's ticketing infrastructure -- Texas, UNC, Wisconsin, Michigan St., Colorado, Maryland, Montana, UNLV, USC, and ECU -- to decrease operational costs and improve customer service levels.
