VIEW(SM) Search Engine Optimizes the Accuracy of Capital Equipment Budgets for VHA Members

IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - September 2, 2008) - VHA Inc., the national healthcare alliance, today unveiled VIEW(SM), a new, one-stop web-based search engine for capital equipment that is available for VHA members. VIEW is designed to help hospitals solve their struggle with developing accurate budgets due to the complexity and broad range of capital equipment categories and pricing.

VIEW provides members with the information necessary to improve the cost accuracy of forecasted capital equipment needs and benefit from the advantages of more accurate and efficient planning. Capital equipment includes big-ticket items such as MRI and CT scanners and smaller items such as defibrillators.

To offer VIEW to its members, VHA has partnered with two industry-leading organizations -- Attainia, the leading provider of capital budgeting and equipment planning software and MD Buyline, the leader in healthcare technology and information services.
