VYCON Names Dann McKeraghan Vice President of Sales

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 2, 2009) - VYCON (www.vyconenergy.com), the designer and manufacturer of award winning environmentally-friendly, high-speed DC energy storage flywheel systems, today announced the appointment of Dann McKeraghan to vice president of sales, power quality markets.

McKeraghan joined VYCON in October 2008 as director of sales for North America. Under his direction, strategic programs were initiated that included establishment of industry alliances, increasing awareness in the market for VYCON's unique flywheel technology, building of a world class sales team and implementation of proven sales processes for large capital equipment . Through his leadership VYCON sales in the power quality market has expanded to record levels for the company.

In his new role as vice president of sales, power quality markets, McKeraghan will be responsible for increasing field sales support, channel expansion and the continued sales growth of VYCON's VDC and VDC-XE Direct Connect DC power systems that protect mission-critical power quality applications. These innovative, clean DC energy systems bring environmentally friendly "green" backup power to data centers, hospitals, broadcast studios, gaming centers and manufacturing plants.

During his 20-year career, McKeraghan has held key positions with power quality leaders such as Eaton, Exide Electronics and Power Distribution Inc. Prior to joining VYCON, McKeraghan was with Eaton Corporation where he managed the Central Zone for Eaton's Powerware brand of Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPSs) and associated power quality solutions for nearly a decade.
