Valentine's Day Lament – “Will I Ever Find a Partner I Can Love?”

Why love is never enough – What a concerned therapist found: the missing ingredient that helps people find excellent relationships

Attention: Books Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Lifestyle Editor WATERLOO, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 9, 2007) - For many people, Valentine's Day is a stinging reminder of past, failed relationships. People feel regret, tinged with desperation - "Why don't my relationships ever work out?"

Wayne C. Allen is an author and psychotherapist with extensive experience in dealing with people in relationship. In the course of his work, he discovered something unexpected. His clients had never clearly thought through who they wanted to be in relationship with. They settled for whoever was available, (Mr. Allen calls this, "settling for the next bozo in line,") figuring they could 'fix' the person's flaws later on.

They were shocked and angry to discover that their partner wasn't going to change. Another failed relationship - and they'd ask, "Why can't I have a successful relationship/What's wrong with me?"

Mr. Allen devised a way for his clients to discover who they are and what they want, specifically, in a partner.

Mr. Allen says, "Falling in love is not enough! Hormones are not enough! It is impossible to have a successful relationship without a fully functioning brain. Being in relationship is chiefly about listening without judgement and embracing your partner's differences. This is only possible if you're willing to engage your brain, as opposed to simply reacting to your emotions."

The high divorce and relationship failure rate demonstrates how few people know how to create a successful relationship. Thinking through who the right person is, is the essential first step.

Mr. Allen wrote a downloadable e-book that completely explains this process. Readers work through a step-by-step process that leads to a much happier Valentine's Day!
