'Valentines Day Movie' Ties Up With Flowers Direct

MORECAMBE, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2010) - Online floral gifting retailer, Flowers Direct, have made it a Hollywood style Valentine's weekend by entering a co-promotion agreement with 'Valentine's Day' the movie, the latest romantic offering from Warner Bros Pictures.

Linking up with other romantically orientated companies with an affinity to Valentines, the bottom line is that Flowers Direct customers have a chance to win a number of stunning prizes.

"We've got a Sandals Luxury Holiday, Bravissimo underwear and flowers for a year up for grabs," says Marketing Director, Michael Duffy. "Plus you can win tickets to the Premiere in Leicester Square if you're quick off the mark, as well as other fantastic prizes."

Valentine's Day Movie comes from the director of Pretty Woman and is a clever tale of 'a day in the life of love'. It follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of Valentine's Day. An all-star cast, including Jessica Alba, Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper promise to make it a date romantic film buffs will not want to miss.

"We're really pleased that the promotion of the movie has enabled our customers to have the chance to win something special," continues Duffy. "Amongst the romantics visiting our website for their classic Valentine's Flowers - beautiful roses of course - someone may just end up winning the prize of a lifetime."

Flowers Direct have a stunning collection of valentines flowers this year priced from just GBP 19.99 and early sales have been encouraging according to Duffy.

"We're seeing a surge in regular customers coming back to get flowers from a floral gifting specialist that they can trust. People surely don't want to hand their special one's supermarket flowers, do they? If you're going to do something - especially in matters of the heart - at least do it properly! No wonder we're attracting the interests of Hollywood."
