VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 15, 2009)Thirty-five Vancouver Scouts representing the Pacific Coast Council are skipping Christmas at home this year to provide leadership training for over 500 Filipino youth and adults. These 17 to 26 year olds, as part of a Scouts Canada leadership program, will be traveling to Davao City, Philippines on December 24, 2009 for a two week leadership forum. There they will provide a series of workshops to help Filipino youth and adults become more employable and better leaders in their community.
