Victory Energy Board of Directors Authorizes Dividend

CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwire - April 23, 2008) - Victory Energy Corporation (OTCBB: VYEY) announces that the Board of Directors has authorized an extraordinary stock dividend to the Corporation's shareholders.

Victory will issue as an extraordinary stock dividend, one (1) common share of stock for every four (4) shares of common stock held by a shareholder on the Record date. The Board will determine the Record date and Payment date in its next meeting. This dividend of common shares will be subject to and in accordance with Rule 144.
