Victory Poker Pro Paul Wasicka Wins Harrah's Tunica $5,000 Championship

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - February 11, 2010) - At 1PM CST, Kwickfish notified his more than 2,200 followers on Twitter that he was going heads up at the final table for the Harrah's Tunica Championship title. According to reports, the last two contenders were nearly dead even in chips. Wasicka won the first pot, putting him 270,000 ahead of his competitor, but five hours passed before another Twitter message revealed, "I won!!!"

Team Victory Pro Paul Wasicka beat out 96 players, over three days, to win Harrah's Tunica Event #19 $5,000 Championship, $139,422, the circuit ring, and a 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event seat.

In 2006 he chipped away at the largest field in history, going runner-up against Jamie Gold in the main event of the 2006 World Series of Poker.
