Vidyo Expands Leadership Team

Set to Drive Commercial Introduction of Video Conferencing Products

HACKENSACK, NJ--(Marketwire - October 4, 2007) - Vidyo™, Inc., the first company to make deployment of high-definition (HD) video conferencing widely available over the Internet, today announced the additions of four new executives in marketing, product development and sales as the company prepares for product introduction. "Over the last year, organizations that became aware of our video technology urged us to aggressively take it to market," says Ofer Shapiro, CEO of Vidyo. "Having already established strategic relationships, we needed to add highly accomplished people to lead each of our key areas of market development and sales to accelerate market expansion."

Rob Hughes joins the company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He has over 19 years of experience in the conferencing industry. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Support at LifeSize Communications (where he was responsible for building the worldwide sales team and distribution network); Vice President and General Manager, Americas at Radvision Ltd. (where he was responsible for the sales, marketing, and support organizations); President and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at VSGi (where he oversaw worldwide sales, services and marketing organizations); and the Vice President of North American Channel Sales at Polycom, Inc. Rob holds a BS in Communications from Northwestern University, and an MBA from Loyola University.

The sales team in Europe is led by Eric Le Guiniec, General Manager EMEA, who joins from Arel (where he was Vice President EMEA) and from First Virtual Communications (FVC) (where he served as Vice President EMEA Sales). Eric also spearheaded the sales operation in France at Tekelec Europe for the company's service provider products. Eric has a proven track record working with major enterprise accounts, service providers, carriers, and telecom equipment suppliers. Eric has an MS, Sales and Marketing from Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis, and a BS in Computer Science from Université Paris X Nanterre.

Marty Hollander joins the company as Senior Vice President of Marketing. With more than 20 years of high-tech marketing experience, Marty specializes in developing lasting strategic assets through creative market development. Previously, he served as Vice President of Marketing at Cemaphore Systems, Latitude Communications (later acquired by Cisco) and ProactiveNet (later acquired by BMC). He also founded CollectiveSpace and IntelliCorp, where he played a variety of executive roles. Marty has held senior level positions at Silicon Graphics and Storm Technology, and has an MBA from Stanford University as well as an MS from Carnegie-Mellon University.

To lead the company's HD product development efforts, Adi Regev joins as Director of Products after more than 12 years at Radvision, where he contributed significantly to the engineering, product management and sales development efforts. Prior to joining Vidyo, Adi's most recent position was Assistant Vice President for Sales Development. He has a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

In another development, the company recently changed its name from Layered Media, Inc. to Vidyo, Inc.
