Vior Inc.: Exploration Up-Date on Bourgeoys and Lac-Edouard Nickel Projects

QUEBEC, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2007) - Vior Inc. ("Vior") (TSX VENTURE:VIO)(FRANKFURT:VL5) is pleased to announce results from a helicopter-borne VTEM (Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetic) geophysical survey performed on its Bourgeoys, Rochette-Savanne and Lac-Edouard properties during this past summer. Deep penetrating geophysics had never been performed on these properties before. The survey identified 7 significant conductors that averaged approximately 400 metres in length and that are generally associated with pyroxenite intrusions. These conductors represent choice targets for a drilling program scheduled in 2008.

Bourgeoys Project

The Bourgeoys and Rochette-Savane properties cover 84 mining claims totalling more than 4,250 hectares and are located 20 kilometres east of the town of La Tuque and 20 kilometres southwest of the Lac-Edouard property, in the centre of the Province of Quebec in the High St-Maurice structural zone. These properties are wholly-owned by Vior.

During the month of June 2007, compilation and terrain exploration lead to the identification of several sectors that indicated a strong potential for the discovery of magmatic-type nickel-copper deposits. The results of this work confirmed that the nickel-copper mineralization identified is associated with pyroxenite intrusions similar to those observed on the Lac-Edouard deposit. On these properties, the best results were encountered on the Rochette showing where chosen samples, in a mineralized pyroxenite, returned nickel and copper values.

The VTEM survey was flown over 100 line kilometres using 200 metre flight line spacing. Three conductors were identified on the Bourgeoys property and three additional ones on the Rochette-Savanne property. The technical team at Vior believes that these conductors indicate the presence of copper-nickel sulphide-rich bodies since there is no evidence of graphite in the area. The nickel-copper rich mineralization observed on the Rochette showing is related to one of these conductors. Additional ground exploration will be conducted in the near future to better characterize the geological environment of these conductors.

Lac-Edouard Project

The Lac-Edouard property covers 79 mining titles totalling 4125 hectares and hosts a magmatic type nickel-copper deposit that was partially mined from 1973 to 1974. This deposit which is located approximately 50 kilometres northwest of the Town of La Tuque, produced approximately 400 tons of nickel and 200 tons of copper from 48,000 tons of ore (Quebec-MNRW: DV-85-08). Mineralization occurs in the form of parallel sulphides lenses 5 to 25 metres in thickness associated with pyroxenites.

During the month of June 2007, Vior also carried out a helicopter-borne VTEM geophysical survey on this property. The survey totalled 477 line kilometres using 200 metre flight line spacing. The survey precisely identified the Lac-Edouard deposit and also indicated that the deposit remains open for exploration to the east over approximately 150 meters, underneath a small lake. The conductor thus identified is considered as a prime drilling target. No other significant conductors were identified on the remaining portion of the property.

Under the terms of an agreement reached in September 2006, CVRD Inco Limited covered all expenses associated with this helicopter-borne survey. CVRD Inco Limited recently informed the Company that it was terminating the option agreement on the Lac-Edouard property. Vior is pleased to recognize the professional partnership developed over the last year with the technical team of CVRD Inco. Vior thus retains the exclusive rights on this property.

Vior's strategy as to nickel and copper exploration in the La Tuque region is based on advanced exploration techniques and focused on the search for shallow targets. Our main goal is to discover and develop, with partners, world-class nickel-copper deposits.
