Visa Canada: Small Business Big Thinking Conference Offers Practical Advice and Growth Strategies for Business Owners

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 4, 2007) - The Visa Small Business Big Thinking Conference takes place June 4th, 2007, at the Palais des congres de Montreal and offers an energizing mix of inspiration and advice for small business owners.

"Visa is committed to offering resources that help small business owners grow their businesses," said Kareem Chouli, Director, Commercial Solutions, Visa Canada. "We realize that entrepreneurs are constantly juggling competing demands and wanted to provide a forum where they are encouraged to think big."

Responding to the diverse needs of the small business community, the Conference has been organized along functional tracks and participants can attend seminars detailing CEO-level business tools, marketing, management, and eBusiness solutions. "Taking a step back to identify the skills needed to move a business forward can help build a better business. The Conference encourages business owners to focus on areas of opportunity, gain insight from peers and take away practical advice," continued Chouli.

The Conference will open and close with impressive keynote speakers. New York-based writer Donna Fenn will start the day with her address, "Alpha Dogs: How Your Small Business Can Become a Leader of the Pack." Fenn will encourage small business owners to become market leaders and turn employees into true corporate believers while winning customers for life. The closing keynote, "Finding the Formula that Wins," presented by the 2006 National Entrepreneur of the Year, Charles Desourdy, President and CEO of SkiBromont.com, will look at how Desourdy turned the troubled resort into one of Quebec's top ski destinations by engaging employees and attracting new investors.
