Viyya Technologies Announces New VELI Website and Progress to Public Offering

500 Trade Show Leads Drive Towards Additional School Safety Installations

ROSELAND, NJ--(Marketwire - November 13, 2007) - Viyya Technologies Inc. (www.viyya.com) (PINKSHEETS: VYON), developer and marketer of the world's most advanced, web-based information management application, announces the public release of the School Safety Management System (SSMS) and the new VELI website www.VirtualEdLink.org.

As announced in Viyya's last press release, VELI will be a publicly traded company within the next week, with a dividend of its stock to be issued to Viyya Technologies stockholders of record. The new company enters a market whose student population totals about 76 million, 37.9 million in Primary Schools, 16.4 million in Secondary Schools, and 17.5 million in colleges and universities (U.S. Department of Education as of 2004). The Federal Education Budget is in excess of $1.14 trillion. The safety of the country's students will garner a significant share of school spending, and the VELI application has been designed to be effective and affordable.

In the plan for marketing the SSMS, executives of VELI have been in negotiations during November with a reseller group that serves over 50% of the 1,300 community colleges in the U.S. It is expected that an agreement will be made for the servicing of this market segment shortly.

Company officials also announced the final steps (loading student, parent and staff data) in the delivery and implementation of the SSMS applications for the Mechanicville School District of Mechanicville, New York, a beta site set up by agreement of VELI and Mechanicville School Superintendent Michael McCarthy last summer.

With the necessary emphasis on school safety fueled by the threatening incidents that continue across the country, school administrators have attended a series of trade shows in key cities. Virtual Ed Link officials and staff presented the School Safety Management System at School Safety Trade shows in Toronto Oct 13-15, Atlantic City, New Jersey Oct 22-25, and New York City Oct 25-28. Interested response and acceptance of the VELI solution generated contact data from 500 administrators, who provided VELI with information preparatory to SSMS presentations to school IT and senior school staff.

Officials charged with making schools safer, and responsible for the immediate dissemination of instructions in a crisis, identified the SSMS differentiators that make the SSMS solution the most comprehensive in the marketplace for teaching, training, and preparing for threats to safety, and for improving the efficiency of day-to-day administrative processes. The differentiators are: VELI's Portal Platform, Ability to Integrate Other Applications, Personal Data Security, Alerts Posted to the Website, Alerts Posted to Message Boards, Unlimited Groups, Links to Policies and Procedures, Links to Crisis Management Plans, Training Content, eLearning & LMS, Simulations, Document Management, and Links to IP Security Cameras.

John Bay, president and CEO of Viyya, said, "The SSMS applications are still the most advanced and comprehensive tools available anywhere. Other providers just don't have it today, and, as leaders, we want the schools and students to benefit right now."
