Voice-Driven Terminal Emulation From Stay-Linked Is Easy, Affordable -- and It Actually Works

Fully-Integrated Text-To-Speech and Speech-To-Text Capabilities Powered by CTGTALK™ Now Available Directly From Stay-Linked

TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2010) -  Stay-Linked Corporation today announced that it has reached an agreement with CTG Logistics Solutions, a business unit of CTG, to offer CTGTALK™ SST (Speech-To-Text) and TTS (Text-To-Speech) software as a separately-licensed feature of the Stay-Linked terminal emulation solution.

Stay-Linked Speech™ allows customers to easily, affordably, and reliably voice-enable their existing terminal emulation applications. With the new Stay-Linked Version 10 -- set for general release by May 15 -- built-in screen recognition and reformatting capabilities will make the speech interface easy and intuitive to create, without modifying the host applications.

The new Version 10 screen recognition and reformatting functions, which include tools for defining all emulation screen and speech variables from within the powerful Stay-Linked Administrator console, will be included as standard features of Stay-Linked's terminal emulation solution.

"Before we developed Stay-Linked Speech, customers had limited options when deciding to add voice capabilities to their existing Telnet- and SSH-based systems," says David Griffith, President of Stay-Linked. "And those options have been expensive to license and complicated to implement. With the tools built into our new Version 10, voice capabilities can be phased-in quickly and inexpensively by the customer's internal staff."

"And because it's from Stay-Linked, customers and resellers can be assured that they're getting a proven, certified solution that really works -- and one that's backed by the industry's best technical support team," adds Griffith.

The voice-driven data input/output capability of Stay-Linked Speech has been demonstrated over the past two years to select Stay-Linked VAR partners, ERP vendors and device manufacturers.
