Voice Mobility Secures Industry Veteran to Accelerate European Distribution

Voice Mobility's Voice, IP and Convergent Applications introduced to European Markets

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 1, 2007) - Voice Mobility International, Inc. (TSX:VMY)(OTCBB:VMII)(FWB:VMY), a Vancouver based developer and provider of carrier grade enhanced messaging solutions, has contracted Peter Haas, DI to execute and oversee the company's "on the ground" requirements in Europe.

Voice Mobility is looking for an aggressive expansion of sales and channel partners in the current fiscal. "We're currently working on key channel and sales partners in Europe," commented Jay Hutton, President, Voice Mobility. "We have been cultivating this market for some time now. The demand for new wireless applications and IP messaging in these markets meshes with our plans to expand our global coverage. The addition of Peter Haas as a Voice Mobility agent in region will help greatly as we execute our plans. We will be adding sales and channel personnel in strategic locations in the coming months."

Since 2004 Peter has been acting as an independent telecommunications consultant, focused on growing technology companies. Currently he is Managing Director at WNT Telecommunication, a wholesale telecommunication provider which is focused on the transition of circuit switched networks to VOIP technologies. Prior to WNT Telecommunication Peter filled various management positions at Kapsch, a 500 million euro company, since 1988, including general management of PCN, the carrier focused business division. From 2002 to 2004 he managed Aphona, a spin off of Kapsch with a focus on VOIP PBX solutions.

Peter has been actively involved in European projects and is currently a member of FITCE (Federation of Telecommunication Engineers of the European Community) in Austria.

The Voice Mobility suite of applications includes IP Convergence, Voice and Messaging applications. These applications are hosted on a number of solution kits, facilitating on premise deployments, mid tier service providers and tier I carriers.
