WWF-Canada Experts Available for Comment on Copenhagen Outcome

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 18, 2009) - Global climate change negotiations will wrap up later today at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. Even with just hours to go in the two-week conference, there is still hope for a new global deal and WWF-Canada experts are available all weekend to comment.

Gerald Butts, WWF-Canada's President and CEO, was in Copenhagen for the last week of negotiations and provided expert advice to both Canadian and global politicians and stakeholders.

Dr. Keith Stewart, WWF-Canada's Climate Change Program Director, is also available. He has been following the conference closely from Toronto and in constant communication with those in Copenhagen.

Topics they can comment on include:

- What was the outcome? What does it mean?

- What was Canada's role? What can we expect next nationally?

- How will the outcome of Copenhagen influence the G8/G20 in Ontario next spring?
