WebTech Wireless Signs Distribution Agreement with Cascade Sierra Solutions for Quadrant® Transportation Solution

Quadrant® Will Help West Coast Trucking Companies Reduce Fuel Use, CO2 and Diesel Emissions

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 3, 2010) - WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX:WEW), a leading provider of vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, today announced an agreement with Oregon-based non-profit Cascade Sierra Solutions (CSS) for the distribution of their Quadrant® transportation solution to CSS truck fleet customers.

CSS promotes and administrates various federal and state-funded clean air and fuel use reduction programs available to truck fleet operators throughout the United States. These provide financial incentives and financing options to trucking companies to replace, retrofit and/or incorporate new technologies into their fleets to reduce fuel use and resultant CO2 and noxious emissions.

Quadrant is an end-to-end solution for the transportation industry that provides innovative GPS-based remote fleet management capabilities to truck fleet operators, allowing them to monitor the location and operation of their trucks in real-time. With this ability, fleet managers can realize substantial reductions in fuel use through more efficient fleet utilization and improving driver behaviour to reduce the instances of such things as excessive idling, speeding and hard braking. Among other benefits, Quadrant also improves driver communication and facilitates electronic forms completion and hours of service (HOS) reporting that meets government regulatory requirements.

One specific program where CSS and WebTech Wireless are involved is the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach Clean Trucks Program, whose goal it is to replace as many as 16,000 non-compliant diesel trucks by 2012. The majority of the Quadrant units in this agreement will be used in port applications.

"Cascade Sierra Solutions is pleased to offer the WebTech Wireless LBS and telematics solutions to our fleet partners. It is one more tool we can offer to help fleets manage their resources effectively and educate drivers about more efficient driving practices," said Dave Orton, Marketing Communications Manager for CSS. "We expect the Quadrant system to facilitate significant fuel savings opportunities for fleets embracing this technology."

"We're very pleased to be working with Cascade Sierra Solutions, who have become leaders in the efforts to green the trucking industry in the US. This agreement further validates our own Telematics for the Planet environmental product initiatives, and our belief that vehicle LBS and telematics are poised to play a very important role in reducing the nation's fossil fuel dependency and protecting the environment," said Andrew Paul, Regional Business Manager, Transportation at WebTech Wireless.

This latest collaboration with industry leaders underscores WebTech Wireless' commitment to the development of leading-edge, environmental technology for business, worldwide.
