Welcome Hall Mission's Haiti Relief

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 26, 2010) - Following the devastating earthquake and now aftershocks in Haiti, many resident Canadians and homeless Haitians are in the process of immigrating to Quebec. The majority with only what they have on their backs. More than 10, 000 people each month, many of Haitian descent, presently visit Welcome Hall Mission for food, clothing and other urgent requirements. With the new immigration policies these numbers are expected to explode.

Welcome Hall Mission is in urgent need of warm clothes such as winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc..., all types of food and even household articles for these displaced people.

We are particularly touched by this tragedy as many of our clients and employees are having trouble contacting their loved ones and families in Haiti.

Join us and support the people that are coming from Haiti by calling 514-523-5288 or by dropping off food and or clean clothes to Welcome Hall Mission 4755D, Acorn Street in the St-Henry district of Montreal.

Cash donations in order for us to purchase food may be made by phoning the above number or visiting our web site at welcomehallmission.com.
