Wells Fargo Names Dennis Miceli Benefits Practice Leader for Colorado

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - Wells Fargo Insurance Services announces the appointment of Dennis Miceli to the position of Employee Benefits Practice Leader for the company's Colorado locations. Miceli will be based out of the company's Greenwood Village, Colo. office.

In his new role, Miceli will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive benefits practice growth strategy for the state of Colorado. This will include a focus on working collaboratively with our customers, Wells Fargo team members, and Wells Fargo Insurance Service partners.

Miceli brings over 27 years of insurance brokerage experience. He spent the majority of that time in employee benefits with six of those years in executive sales roles for three Rocky Mountain region insurance carriers. Miceli specializes in mid- to large-sized Colorado employers.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Miceli spent nearly 19 years at Van Gilder Insurance where he assisted significantly in the building of the company's benefits department. After managing the benefits department for six years, he returned as a full-time producer where he made efforts to build a larger book of business, working with companies with 100 or more employees.

Miceli has been an active member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, serving on the board in 1998, and chaired the Membership Council for five consecutive years. He is currently a member of the Health Care Committee, the Denver Mile High Rotary Club, and is co-chair of the Vocational Committee.
