West Coast Reduction Ltd.: Western Canada's Largest
Biodiesel Distributor

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 11, 2005) - West Coast
Reduction Ltd. ("WCRL"), a member of the Biodiesel Association of Canada
("BAC"), announced today that they are in the biodiesel distribution

"We are excited to provide the British Columbia marketplace with
biodiesel at a very competitive price while we consider plans to build a
biodiesel plant in Western Canada." says Ridley Bestwick, WCRL's CIO.
"We plan to initially distribute B100 (100% biodiesel) meeting ASTM D
6751 specifications to customers on Vancouver Island and in the Greater
Vancouver area."

WCRL is a leader in Canada's rendering industry, operating
technologically advanced rendering plants in Western Canada. WCRL
renders inedible animal by-products from the meat, poultry and fish
processing industries and recycles used restaurant grease. The removal
and rendering of inedible animal by-products is an essential service
that protects the environment and creates products including protein
meals, fats and oils used in the world's feed, oleo-chemical, soap and
biodiesel industries. WCRL has an established 85,000 MT tank farm
serviced by rail on the Vancouver Port and is well experienced in
distributing fats and oils.

British Columbia showed its commitment to biodiesel in Budget 2004 when
they announced preferential treatment for alternative motor fuels (AMF)
that included biodiesel when blended with clear diesel fuel. As a
result, the biodiesel portion of the blend of biodiesel and diesel is
exempt from tax.

"We commend West Coast Reduction Ltd. for showing its commitment to the
biodiesel industry" stated Christine Paquette, the BAC's Executive
Director. "This move shows Canadians and governments that industry and
members of the BAC are committed to helping the biodiesel industry grow
coast to coast in Canada."

Biodiesel is a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic,
renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be
blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a Biodiesel blend
(for example, 95% petroleum diesel to 5% biodiesel is called B5).
Biodiesel can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with no
modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and
essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.
