Western Pacific Trust Company: Changes in Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2007) - Western Pacific Trust Company ("WPTC" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WP) is pleased to announce that two new directors were elected to its Board of Directors at the Company's Annual General Shareholders' Meeting held on Thursday, June 7, 2007.

Mr. Rod Sorbo, a retired Canadian banking Executive, has worked both in Canada and the United States, culminating with 11 years at Canadian Western Bank. During the last six years before his retirement in December 2005, Mr. Sorbo served as Vice President and Regional Manager, BC Region, for Canadian Western. He also sat on the Bank's Senior Management and Marketing Committees, and served as a Director of the Bank's wholly owned mutual fund dealer.

Mrs. Alison Alfer has held increasingly senior administrative positions with the Company and its affiliated or related companies over the last 20 years, and has been the Manager of Administration and Communications for Western Pacific Trust Company for the last three years. Mrs. Alfer has considerable experience with public company reporting on both the TSX Venture and the TSE Exchanges, and is Corporate Secretary for the Company's two wholly owned subsidiaries, Futureworth Financial Planners Corp. and Western Equity Loans Ltd.
