VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 27, 2007) - Western Pacific Trust Company (TSX VENTURE:WP) announces that the transaction contemplated by the Letter of Intent between Western Pacific and Global Maxfin Investments Inc. announced November 19, 2007, whereby Global was to purchase from Western Pacific all of the outstanding shares of Futureworth Financial Planners Corp., will not be completed.

The purchaser was unable to obtain the regulatory approval required to complete the transaction by the agreed completion date.
