Western Troy Reduces Grant of Options

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 31, 2009) - Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WRY) announced today that the grant of 400,000 options announced in a press release dated December 30, 2009 has been reduced to 180,000 options. The options that were to be granted to management and directors have been eliminated and only those options granted to contractors of the company shall remain in effect. The options have been granted pursuant to Western Troy's Stock Option Plan. They will have a term of five years and are exercisable at a price of 40 cents per share.

Its 100% owned MacLeod Lake Project, located about 275 km north of Chibougamau, Quebec, hosts a well defined Main Zone of mineralization as outlined by extensive drilling.
